Sato® Turbo K-Cu contains one of the most important trace elements – copper (Cu). Copper is found in sufficient quantities in acidic soils, in neutral and alkaline soils it may be lacking.
Copper is one of the trace elements that plants require for normal nutrition and photosynthesis, especially at the stage of gaining vegetative mass. Copper (Cu), together with its direct antagonist iron (Fe), is responsible for the lifespan of green leaves, for the assimilation of nitrogen and the synthesis of lignin, the building material of plant cells. Copper prevents the risk of lodging and restores photosynthesis in crops that have undergone abiotic stress (frost or sudden temperature changes).
IMPORTANT: Excess copper (Cu) is harmful to plants, as it reduces the presence of the trace antagonist element iron (Fe). Molybdenum (Mo), calcium (Ca) and zinc (Zn) are able to block the entry of copper into plant cells. Avoid mixing these micronutrients.
