Sato® Turbo K-B contains boron, which is necessary in small quantities for normal plant development. Boron is indispensable for the full development of the generative organs of plants, abundant flowering and fruit ovary formation. It easily becomes a limiting factor. The most borophilic crops are legumes, cabbage, beet, celery, grapes and fruit stone and pome fruits.
Excessive boron is toxic to plants: uncontrolled accumulation of boron is observed in the oldest leaves, brown dots and burn spots appear, the canvas turns brown, the leaf turns inward, and the growth points die. Excess boron should be avoided in cereals, potatoes, sunflowers, tomatoes and cucumbers.
IMPORTANT: Boron (B) deficiency leads to anatomical deformities and hollow flowers, to ugly and unmarketable fruits as well as reduced yield, and is closely related to calcium (Ca) metabolism. With a lack of boron, plants do not receive this important meso element.
